The From The Anvil Cast Suffolk Latch is a very traditional piece of ironmongery and has been used on doors for centuries. The From the Anvil Suffolk latch is hand-cast from genuine Solid Brass, to provide a more authentic appearance the brass has been left un-lacquered to allow it to naturally age over time, and acquire its own unique patina, the brass can be polished in the traditional way if desired. We recommend this latch on internal Ledge or Braced doors. If using modern door linings, a block of wood of the same thickness as the Braces is recommended. Fully reversible, a very simple yet very pleasing design with a smooth finish.

Available in - 
Polished Brass - Manufactured from solid, unlacquered brass. Bright and reflective when polished, although as an unlacquered, living finish it will continue to oxidise, meaning it will darken over time. If the product becomes too dark or tarnished, it can be polished to restore the brighter finish.
