The From The Anvil Tuscan Thumblatch is beautifully made with a pointed top and bottom of the handle creating the feeling of Gothic architecture & style. The thumbpiece passes through the door and raises the latch bar off the keep.
To restrict the latch bar movement a staple pin and a screw-on staple pin are provided. Thumb bar size allows for use on doors with a maximum thickness of 80mm.

Available in - 
Beeswax (internal use only) - This is From the Anvil’s most authentic finish for steel. After forging, these products are dipped into hot beeswax which allows them to retain their original colours ranging from blue to deep ochre.
Black - This is a popular choice in traditional settings. Its subtle sheen offers a bold contrast on stained and painted timber alike. During the manufacturing process, From The Anvil’s Black products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities.
Pewter Patina - They are forged from a durable base of steel and boast a rich, luxurious appearance. From The Anvil’s manufacturing techniques create contrasting textures on the surface of the metal to create a rich appearance with an abundance of charm.
