A plain pear shaped Covered Escutcheon, part of the From the Anvil range of door furniture.
The escutcheon is standard profile and can be used with most standard profile Mortice locks, rim locks, dead locks and is ideal for use with From the Anvil mortice/rim knob sets.
The purpose of the escutcheon is to offer protection to your door against damage from the key, help complete the appearance of a door set of ironmongery, and the cover aids in the prevention of draughts.

Un-lacquered Polished Brass - From the Anvil's Polished Brass products come un-lacquered for authenticity. The finish may be maintained with Brasso, or left to acquire a darker and more aged patina.
Aged Brass - The un-lacquered brass achieves a timeless elegance, highly polished on all surface areas but aged to highlight the detail and design. This will tarnish in time as part of the ageing process but can be polished time and time again if a natural sheen is desired.
Polished Nickel - A highly polished finish with a nickel plating applied to solid brass which is salt tested to 480 hours. Similar to a polished chrome finish but with much warmer tones.
