The From The Anvil Blacksmith Oval Escutcheon & Cover is designed as a finishing touch for all locking doors and are used to decorate key holes. This escutcheon uses a standard key hole so can be used with a multitude of locks. Ideally suited to Cottages, Listed Buildings and Period properties.

Available in - 
Black - a popular choice in traditional settings. Its subtle sheen offers a bold contrast on stained and painted timber alike. During the manufacturing process, our Black products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities.
Beeswax - our most authentic finish for steel. After forging, these products are dipped into hot beeswax which allows them to retain their original colours ranging from blue to deep ochre. 
External Beeswax  - a signature of From The Anvil and is manufactured using our unique anti-corrosive beeswax. Much like our standard Beeswax, it offers a matt richness with a depth of colour, ranging from blue to deep ochre red.
Pewter Patina - is forged from a durable base of steel and boast a rich, luxurious appearance. Our manufacturing techniques create contrasting textures on the surface of the metal to create a rich appearance with an abundance of charm. This finish sits well in characterful, rustic homes, but also works as a contemporary alternative in more modern settings.
