The From The Anvil Privacy Latch is traditionally from the north country, made from cast iron, it is simple, yet very effective. Mainly used on doors which only require single side access like cupboard and wardrobe doors. They are ideally suited to Cottages, Listed Buildings and Period properties.

Available in - 
Beeswax (internal use only) - This is From the Anvil’s most authentic finish for steel. After forging, these products are dipped into hot beeswax which allows them to retain their original colours ranging from blue to deep ochre.
Black - This is a popular choice in traditional settings. Its subtle sheen offers a bold contrast on stained and painted timber alike. During the manufacturing process, From The Anvil’s Black products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities.
Pewter Patina - They are forged from a durable base of steel and boast a rich, luxurious appearance. From The Anvil’s manufacturing techniques create contrasting textures on the surface of the metal to create a rich appearance with an abundance of charm.
