From The Anvil Hammered Newbury Lever on Art Deco Rose features a hand-hammered lever, on a sleek stepped Art Deco round rose with concealed fixings for a clean and modern facade on door fronts.
These door handles are available in both sprung and unsprung versions.
The sprung handles have a strong spring incorporated into the boss and rose backplate and come with bolt through and wood screws, and will fit standard British latches.
The unsprung version allows upward locking movement which is often associated with modern espagnolette systems on uPVC doors. It has different screw positions on the rose backplate and comes with wood screws only.

Matt Black – From the Anvil’s matt black finish has a distinctly contemporary feel. It looks great in ultra-modern interiors, but this versatile finish is timeless and will create a statement in traditional or more rustic settings too. The matt black finish is applied to a base material of solid steel and then baked in a high-temperature oven, resulting in a subtle black patina that emphasises the product’s clean silhouette.
Black - This black finish is a popular choice in traditional settings, as it has a subtle sheen. It is baked in a high-temperature oven giving it durable corrosion-resistant properties.
External Beeswax - External beeswax is unique to From the Anvil and is manufactured from anti-corrosive beeswax. It has a matt richness and like the standard beeswax, the depth of colour ranges from blue to deep red ochre. An extremely natural finish and a far softer alternative to a black powder-coated finish.
Pewter patina - Pewter Patina is elegant and beautifully highlights the texture of the steel. Stylish and modern, it is equally suited to a new home as well as a period one. It has excellent anti-corrosion properties. Externally this finish requires no more than occasional cleaning with a damp cloth. If you want a maintenance-free finish combined with a superb natural metal colour then pewter patina is ideal.
Aged Brass - is very similar to the Antique Brass finish, but subtly less dark. To achieve the Aged Brass Finish, the ageing process is accelerated much like the Antique Brass, except then the finish is re-polished. The result is a beautiful rose-gold finish, which highlights any dark detail on the product. The finish may be maintained with Brasso or left to age gracefully to its own unique patina.
Polished Chrome - A bright, highly polished finish which reflects like a mirror. A base metal of either solid brass or steel, which then has a quality chrome plating process applied to its surface to give a highly polished and beautiful finish. We recommend that this finish is wiped with a lightly oiled cloth from time to time which will remove harmful deposits and maintain it in its original condition.
Aged Bronze - This finish is manufactured from solid un-lacquered bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper; with a rich, matt hue, due to the finishing process used to age the metal, this process initially darkens the material, however, the finish will gradually oxidize over time revealing the warmer copper undertones. This finish has been salt tested for 480 hours.
