The Magnetic Tubular Latch is designed to operate as any conventional latch mechanism, however when the door handle lever is operated the latch bolt is retracted and then remains in the retracted position creating a completely flush finish to the edge of the door.  

The traditional triangular tongue of the latch is not visible, instead the edge of the door shows the face plate but the square magnetic bolt sits flush into the door fascia.  Aesthetically this creates a much nicer look, giving a seamless design to the door edge, and also has an additional health and safety benefit as there is no sharp angles to catch yourself on!

The magnetic bolt is then automatically drawn out of the door as it is closed int position and softly clicks into the strike plate housing on the door frame.  As there is no spring mechanism to be forced closed the strikeplate can be fitted as a simple square plate without the usual lip design, again providing a much more seamless design.

The Magnetic Latches look particularly good on a door when fitted with the concealed fix hinges.

The case size and design has been carefully engineered to be 100% retro compatible with the Eurospec Latches, making this an easy product to fit and use as replacements for existing latches.

Supplied with face plate andstrike plates in brass, bronze, satin steel and bright steel, they can be matched to most ranges of door furniture.
