The From the Anvil Covered Beehive Escutcheon; part of the Wenlock Range, new by From The Anvil, their collection of products are drawn and hand forged following traditional methods, the designs faithfully reproduce the finest English blacksmithing.
The Ebony wood finish on our From the Anvil products has a rich, dark appearance and feel, for a very distinctive quality period look.
Can be waxed or polished to maintain the vibrance of the wood and to give overall protection from use.
Suitable for use internally, externally or in high moisture areas but must be maintained to get the best out of the finish.
The escutcheon is standard profile and can be used with most standard profile mortice locks, rim locks, dead locks and is ideal for use with From the Anvil mortice/rim knob sets. 
The purpose of the escutcheon is to offer protection to your door against damage from the key, help complete the appearance of a door set of ironmongery, and the cover aids in the prevention of draughts.

Ebony Finish – A rich, dark look and feel, imparting a very distinctive quality. The material is solid hardwood which has a very high density and fine texture.
Finished in -
Un-lacquered Polished Brass - From the Anvil's Polished Brass products come un-lacquered for authenticity. The finish may be maintained with Brasso, or left to acquire a darker and more aged patina.
OR
Polished Nickel - A highly polished finish with a nickel plating applied to solid brass which is salt tested to 480 hours. Similar to a polished chrome finish but with much warmer tones.
