The Tewkesbury Mortice Door Knob; a very ornate and decorative pair of unsprung solid door knobs, reproduced from a Georgian original.
Perfectly suited to restore period properties or town houses to create a genuinely traditional feel.
Designed to finish off your door suite and match perfectly with other ironmongery.
For best results the centre of the knob should be a minimum of 76mm (3'') from the edge of the door.
We recommend double sprung latches for use with this knob, at 4'', 5'' or 6".
Suitable for use with a Mortice Latch ONLY.

Available below in -
Aged Brass - The un-lacquered brass achieves a timeless elegance, highly polished on all surface areas but aged to highlight the detail and design. This will tarnish in time as part of the ageing process but can be polished time and time again if a natural sheen is desired.
Polished Nickel - A highly polished finish with a nickel plating applied to solid brass which is salt tested to 480 hours. Similar to a polished chrome finish but with much warmer tones.
Polished Chrome - A highly polished finish which reflects like a mirror. A base metal of solid brass with quality chrome plating applied to its surface which is salt tested to 480 hours.
Aged Bronze - This finish is manufactured from solid un-lacquered bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper; with a rich, matt hue, due to the finishing process used to age the metal, this process initially darkens the material, however the finish will gradually oxidize over time revealing the warmer copper undertones. This finish has been salt tested to 480 hours.
