The From The Anvil Prestbury Sash Hook Fastener is used to secure your sash window. It has a simple ringed design that matches perfectly with the Prestbury door and cabinet furniture in the range.  Ideal for use on a narrow top rail due to a thin fixing keep.

Aged Brass - It is intentionally tarnished using an accelerated ageing process that causes a dark patina to gather around the edges and recesses of the design. This rich colour offers a beautiful contrast against the repolished surface areas, offering an abundance of charm and character perfect for any period dwelling.
Aged Bronze - Manufactured from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. Due to the process used to age the metal, this finish is very dark and has a rich, matt appearance. During the final stages of manufacturing, we apply a durable, matt lacquer to this finish which helps preserve its distinctive tones.
Antique Pewter - It offers the same protection as Pewter Patina but has a solid Brass base rather than steel. This finish undergoes a complex manufacturing process which creates fewer textural marks to give a smoother overall appearance.
Powder Coat Finish - A popular choice in traditional settings. Its subtle sheen offers a bold contrast on stained and painted timber alike. During the manufacturing process, our Black products are baked in a high-temperature oven, giving them durable, corrosion-resistant qualities.
Beeswax Finish - Our most authentic finish for steel. After forging, these products are dipped into hot beeswax which allows them to retain their original colours ranging from blue to deep ochre. All our Beeswax ironmongery offers a subtle matt richness and is a more natural, and far softer, alternative to a black powder-coated finish. These products offer excellent internal protection when properly maintained.
Polished Bronze - Made from solid bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. This finish is aged and then subsequently re-polished to highlight the lighter surface areas against the darker, detailed parts. During the final stages of manufacturing, we apply a robust lacquer which helps preserve this bright contrast.
Polished Chrome - Made from a base of solid brass coated with durable chrome plating to give an exceedingly high-sheen finish. Favoured for its bright, bold appearance, Polished Chrome is well suited to contemporary designs and offers a smooth, mirror finish when polished. This works best if a cool, clean look is desired.
Polished Nickel - Manufactured from a solid brass base with high-quality plating. This finish is bright, reflective, and extremely versatile. When polished, it offers an impressive depth of reflection and has an appropriate place in modern properties, but its warm tones also make it suitable for traditional settings. 
Satin Chrome: Crafted from a base of solid brass, with high-quality chrome plating applied to its surface. It offers an understated alternative to Chrome and is loved for its less reflective appearance and distinctive blue traces. A popular choice for those looking for a timeless matt finish.
Un-lacquered Polished Brass - Made from solid, unlacquered brass and have soft, golden hues which offer a depth of reflection. This works wonderfully in period dwellings but can also be used to bring a classic twist to contemporary properties. If left untouched, this finish will oxidise over time and naturally age to create a historically beautiful look. To restore these products to their former glory, simply polish them using a dry cloth and some Brasso.
