From the Anvil's traditional plain fingerplate is forged from solid sheet steel and finished in beautiful Pewter Patina, both of which look excellent when used on timber or painted doors. A far cry from machine-cut flimsy fingerplates, this product is made by hand, as is evident on the visibly anvil-beaten edges which are highlighted by the pewter finish. The 3mm gauge sheet material has a very heavy, solid feel to it. The Fingerplate is fitted to protect the door from wear and tear, which makes this item deal for use in high traffic areas, both residential and commercial applications. These plates have been used to great effect on both bare timber or painted doors in residential projects, visitor centres, and pubs and restaurants.
This product is part of our From the Anvil range, they have specialized in recreating original designs by hand and have acquired a reputation for excellence. Designed to finish off your door suite and match perfectly with other ironmongery.
