Black - This black finish is a popular choice in traditional settings, as it has a subtle sheen. It is baked in a high-temperature oven giving it durable corrosion resistant properties.
Matt Black – From the Anvil’s matt black finish has a distinct contemporary feel. It looks great in ultra-modern interiors, but this versatile finish is timeless and will create a statement in traditional or more rustic settings too. The matt black finish is applied to a base material of solid steel and then baked in a high temperature oven, resulting in a subtle black patina that emphasises the product’s clean silhouette.
Pewter patina - Pewter Patina is elegant and beautifully highlights the texture of the steel. Stylish and modern, it is equally suited to a new home as well as a period one. It has excellent anti-corrosion properties. Externally this finish requires no more than an occasional cleaning with a damp cloth. If you want a maintenance free finish combined with a superb natural metal colour then pewter patina is ideal.
Aged Bronze - This finish is manufactured from solid un-lacquered bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper; with a rich, matt hue, due to the finishing process used to age the metal, this process initially darkens the material, however the finish will gradually oxidize over time revealing the warmer copper undertones. This finish has been salt tested to 480 hours.
Polished Bronze - (For both Internal and external use) - Manufactured from solid un-lacquered bronze containing a minimum of 85% copper. This finish undergoes an accelerated ageing process and is then re-polished, leaving any decorative details dark and larger surface areas more polished. This finish has been salt tested to 480hours, which meets grade 5 British Standard.
Polished Brass - Made from solid unlacquered brass, this finish is both classic and simplistic and offers great possibilities for stately and period dwellings alike, particularly where a very traditional look is desired. When fully polished this finish has a depth of reflection. However, as the product is unlacquered this can also be left to age naturally, which over time will create a beautifully historic finish.
Aged Brass - This finish is perfectly suited to period dwellings and will create a statement throughout. Due to the accelerated ageing process, this finish undergoes, a darker patina gathers around the edges and recesses to contrast beautifully with the re-polished surface areas.
Polished Nickel - A highly polished finish with a nickel plating applied to solid brass which is salt tested to 480 hours. Similar to a polished chrome finish but with much warmer tones.
Polished Chrome - A highly polished finish which reflects like a mirror. A base metal of solid brass with quality chrome plating applied to its surface which is salt tested to 480 hours.
Satin Stainless Steel - Is grade 316 and manufactured with high concentrations of chromium and nickel. This finish is low sheen and offers a frosted, matt look. For complementary products, we recommend our Satin Chrome finish.
Polished Stainless Steel - Is grade 316 and manufactured with high concentrations of chromium and nickel. This finish is very versatile, with a high sheen appearance that works well with warm tones and cool, contemporary settings alike. For complementary products, we recommend our Polished Chrome finish.
