Croft Hardware Beggars Latch - 1873. Part of Croft Hardware's Door fittings range, this Beggars latch has a simple, clean design. The beggars latch is withdrawn by the concealed lever in the underside of the case. Rim latches and locks were first used during Victorian times, but became very popular during the 1920's and 30's. Ideal for use in interiors attempting to create a classical, period feel. Available in both left and right handed versions (Right hand displayed on image). This item is also available with a reverse bolt to suit outside doors.
