The Blu Performance Sleeved Letterplate 316 Stainless Steel is a high-quality front door letter plate designed to suit both classic heritage and contemporary style front doors. It has achieved 'Best in Class' BS6375-1 Weatherproof Test results against air, wind and water. and has successfully used it in a PAS24 security test. It comes with integral gaskets, brushes and a telescopic liner for enhanced weather and draught protection, as well as a built-in inner security flap that helps prevent 'fishing'. They are ideal for use where corrosion levels are high such as in coastal environments and with acidic timber, due to them being manufactured from a base material of 316 marine-grade stainless Steel.

Hi, I'm interested in using this Blu Performance Sleeved Letterplate 316 Stainless Steel (SKU:LP400-PSB) on a UVPC door. I wanted to check its compatibility. The dimensions of the aperture on my door are: 4.5cm door thickness, 5cm height, 28cm full length (including 2 screw holes). I can see that this model has 4 screw holes whereas our current letterbox only has 2. Would this mean we have to screw additional holes into the door. Do you know if this is easy to do ? These type of letterplates are require to have a certain aperture, so you would be looking to make the whole in your door bigger. After checking the technical drawing for this product, you would require to have an aperture of 315mm by 95mm.
