From the Anvil's traditional plain fingerplate is forged from solid sheet steel and finished in either black powder coat or Beeswax, both of which look excellent when used on timber or painted doors. A far cry from flimsy machine-cut fingerplates, this product is made by hand, as is evident on the visibly anvil-beaten edges. The 3mm gauge sheet material has a very heavy, solid feel to it. The Fingerplate is fitted to protect the door from wear and tear, which makes this item deal for use in high traffic areas, in both residential and commercial applications. These finger plates have been used to great effect in residential and restoration projects, visitor centres, and pubs and restaurants. Now available in three different sizes ranging right up to 1800mm, to maximize the applications this plate can be used in.
This product is part of our From the Anvil range, they have specialized in recreating original designs by hand and have acquired a reputation for excellence. Designed to finish off your door suite and match perfectly with other ironmongery.
