This Cranked Monkeytail Bolt has been hand crafted, it is a multi purpose bolt, designed for use on outward opening doors and windows.
This bolt can be used horizontally or vertically, due to the unique spring mechanism incorporated into the backplate.
These bolts are well made, tight fitting and have a unique spring mechanism.  
Part of our From The Anvil range these are faithfully reproduced to original designs by hand in the traditional fashion of English Blacksmiths. 
Ideally suited to Cottages, Listed Buildings and Period properties.
Available below in (two sizes) - 
Black Antique - More textured than the powder coat black alternative. It has a more grainy texture, but like our powder coat black finish, this antique black finish is baked in a high temperature oven giving it a durable and corrosion resistant finish which is low maintenance.
