This cast iron rim lock keep has a simple patterned design on the top of the keep. It has been created using original designs unique to this range.
The cast iron goes through a 5 stage hand finishing process to achieve a natural, authentic finish that will age naturally over time giving an antique iron finish. This finish is perfect for traditional and period properties and showcase the rich, natural beauty and texture of the metal.
These cast iron rim lock keeps are perfect if you are restoring an old property and need to replace lost keeps for old rim-locks. However, they can also be used to great effect as a drawer or cupboard pull.
PLEASE NOTE: This product is of a rustic nature and is designed to both look and feel as if it has been in use for many years. You may wish to order a refundable sample before purchasing in larger quantities to make sure it suits the application.

Hi there
Is the keep 'open' both sides (ie can a bolt go all the way through) or is it closed on one side, like a housing? (Impossible to tell from the photos)
