This Rustic Wall Mounted Wooden Coat Hook Rack is handmade and created from reclaimed pallet wood which has been roughly sanded back and hand joined into the beautiful creation you see here today. The coat rack features two different sizes of coat hook; the larger hooks perfect for heavier coats and jackets. The seven coat hooks used are created from genuine iron without an artificial coating which means this finish will age naturally over time. This selection of cast iron goes through a 5 stage hand finishing process to achieve its natural authentic finish. The reclaimed wood is left raw and unfinished for a beautiful, authentic look. If you do wish to apply polish or wax to this wood, we recommend using our Liberon Wood Wax. Please note that because each piece is individually handmade, the wooden rack that you receive may differ in appearance to the image shown here due to natural differences in the wood's grain. Each product is handmade and completely unique and differences between two products are to be noticed and celebrated.
This large wooden coat hanger rack is perfect for homes looking to embrace an industrial farmhouse design, a design becoming increasingly popular in recent days. This coat hanger rack has been handmade by a small business in Cumbria, here in the UK. Each product in the range is named after a place that has a sentimental meaning to its creator, this includes place names of locations in Cumbria and around the UK, all the way to town names in Portugal, Estonia and further afield.
NOTE: This product is NOT supplied with any installation fixings.
PLEASE NOTE: The Antique Iron used in these coat hooks is of a rustic nature and is designed to both look and feel as if it has been in use for many years. You may wish to order a refundable sample before purchasing in larger quantities to make sure it suits the application. This product is created using genuine cast iron. The finish is left unlacquered for authenticity. Light surface rust may be present or develop when used in damp environments. If desired, this can be easily removed by using light oil (such as WD 40) and a fine grade wire wool. Ordinarily, when regularly used, this product develops it's own patina, but should you wish to afford additional protection, we recommend Maintenance Wax be applied, which will give the iron a protective seal against any moisture.
