Part of our From The Anvil range these are faithfully reproduced to original designs by hand in the traditional fashion of English Blacksmiths. They are ideally suited to Cottages, Listed Buildings and Period properties.

The Thumblatch is one of the most traditional pieces of ironmongery. The Thumb Bar passes through the door and raises the Latch off the keep.  To restrict the Latch Bar movement a Staple Pin or screw on Staple is provided (discard unused pin or staple).

NOTE:  This 'Heavy' version is designed for use on much larger doors. The product is much larger in proportion to the 'Medium' version.
