DIN Locks are the European standard with a larger Lock Centre measurement of 78mm on Bathroom Locks. (This means that when used with any Thumbturn there is a bigger distance between the handle and the turn than when using a standard bathroom lock with 57mm). These are often specified on commercial projects for their flexibility of use with a wide range of fittings and their compliance with Disability Discrimination Act regulations for ease of access. Equally, these items are perfect for use in high spec modern residential projects, where a Lever Handle and Thumbturn can be spaced further apart for aesthetic purposes.

This Bathroom Lock conforms to BSEN12209 and Fire Certification FD30/60 requirements.  Tested to CE Category Of Use 3 - e.g. public buildings where there is high traffic and potential misuse.  Tested to 200,000 cycles with a constant side force of 25N.
