Sticking doors: Rub chalk down the edge of the door, and then close it.
The chalk will leave a mark on the frame at the point of contact. The
door can now be planed/ sanded down.

Sticking hinges: Smear oil and work the hinge back & forth, or
alternatively rub pencil lead along the spine.

Sticking locks: Apply oil to the key, and then insert the key into the
lock and turn, working back and forth gently until loose.
