The thumblatch is one of the most traditional pieces of ironmongery. The thumb piece passes through the door and raises the latch bar off the keep. To restrict the latch bar movement a staple pin or screw on staple is provided (discard unused pin or staple).
Note - The XL version has an extra long 6.5" thumb bar for thicker doors; 45 - 50mm.
